How does the Ottoman Bed Storage Calculator work?
The calculator multiplies the internal length, width and depth of the compartment to find a theoretical volume, then converts that into litres and cubic metres. Because real ottoman beds contain gas-lift arms, hinges and framing, a generic allowance is applied to reach an estimated usable capacity. When you add items, their packed volumes are totalled and divided by a packing-efficiency factor that reflects how much unused space irregular items leave behind.
How much storage does an ottoman bed have?
Capacity varies with the bed size, the internal depth and the internal construction. A super king ottoman bed with a deep compartment holds far more than a single ottoman bed with a shallow one.
